Cowslip Syrup with Sorbitol

Stop your chronic cough and whooping cough!
The formula is cowslip, thyme and vitamin C.

Cowslip is not only a decorative flower but also a traditional medicinal herb with a broad range of effects. The cowslip root has anti-inflammatory and soothing effect and is used for chronic cough, inflammations of the respiratory tract (bronchitis, pharyngitis), cold and flu. The thyme (wild basil) syrup helps in the most difficult cases of respiratory diseases, bronchial asthma and whooping cough. Optimum effects are obtained in combination with vitamin C.

Activity: extract of cowslip root, for inflammations of the respiratory tract accompanied with abundant secretion, dilutes the thick slime and thus facilitates its expectoration; the thyme extract has antibacterial properties and reduces contractions of smooth muscles in the respiratory passages.

It is recommended for:
- cold and flu
- milder expectoration
- sore throat

A teaspoon of 5 ml contains: liquid extract of cowslip root 1.2 g, liquid extract of thyme 2.4 g, vitamin C 0.06 g, sorbitol.

Recommended daily intake:
Children aged 2 – 7: 3 x 1 teaspoon (5 ml) a day
Children aged 7 - 14: 3 x 1 - 2 teaspoons (5 - 10 ml) a day
Adults and children aged 14 and above: 3 x 1 spoon (15 ml) a day
